Summary
RGC Argentina is hiring a Local Data & Project Coordination Lead based in Neuquén for a long-term service with a leading energy (Oil & Gas, Upstream) company. This is an on-site, field-facing role: visits to field facilities and coordination between the Buenos Aires HQ and local operations, acting as the local point of reference. You run multiple projects with different interlocutors, prioritize and reconcile requests with competing priorities, and translate between internal clients, management and technical teams. Senior profile, versed in data-management strategy and practice, requirements gathering, and IT technologies (data lake, specialized databases, BI, report automation).
RGC Argentina SA is a technology-implementation studio with operations in Buenos Aires and Houston. We work with upstream energy operators, mining companies and industrial leaders across Argentina, the region and the United States.
Our portfolio is deliberately multi-domain. We build for the real world: ecosystems where legacy systems coexist with modern data platforms and AI services. A large part of our work is the continuity layer that holds them together, and the coordination that makes technology change land in the operation and run. We do not advise from the outside: we answer for the result.
RGC Argentina is hiring a Local Data & Project Coordination Lead based in Neuquén for a long-term service with a leading energy (Oil & Gas, Upstream) company.
This is an on-site, field-facing role. You are the single point of reference in Neuquén: the link between the Buenos Aires HQ and local operations. You stay close to the data and to the operation — visiting field facilities, gathering needs at the source, and understanding how the people who use what we build actually work — while sustaining coordination with the central teams.
We are looking for a senior profile who enjoys ordering complexity: running several projects in parallel, each with different interlocutors, and prioritizing and reconciling requests with competing priorities — not combative, but legitimate interests competing for the same time and the same resources. Someone with judgment in strategy and data management, who translates both ways between the business, management and the technical teams, and who leaves everything documented for whoever comes next.
The operation happens in the field, in Neuquén; many of the decisions are made in Buenos Aires. When no one watches both realities at once, projects drift apart: the business asks for one thing, the technical team understands another, and different teams' priorities collide with no one to order them. That is the gap this role fills. Being on the ground, seeing the data at the source, reconciling competing requests and translating between the business and the technical side is what keeps the service moving and stops a misunderstanding between HQ and the operation from carrying all the way into a drilling, completions or workover decision. We are looking for someone who brings order with judgment, documents precisely for those who come next, and understands that being the local point of reference is an operational commitment, not a detail.
RGC Argentina is an equal‑opportunity employer. All applications are evaluated on merit and competence.
