The High School Librarian manages and supports the school library and provides students and teachers with access to books, digital resources, technology, and research materials. The librarian promotes reading, information literacy, independent learning, and responsible use of information while collaborating with teachers to support the school's academic curriculum.
Full-time position in a public high school. The librarian works primarily in the school library and collaborates regularly with teachers, students, administrators, and support staff. Duties may include occasional evening or school-community events.
Performance of this position will be evaluated annually in accordance with the Board's policy on Evaluation of Personnel.
