Job summary

BCD Meetings & Events is seeking a Legal Counsel for NORAM with a LATAM-based role. You will support North America sales, procurement, privacy, and supplier teams, handling complex commercial contracts and multinational agreements from a remote LATAM location.

You will translate legal risk into practical business guidance, partner with stakeholders across functions, and maintain strong communication with clients and external counsel in fluent English.

Qualifications

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating client, supplier, technology, and multinational contracts.
• Translating legal risk, contractual obligations, and regulatory considerations into practical guidance for business teams.
• Managing multiple priorities while staying organized, responsive, and detail oriented.
• Building strong working relationships across functions and partnering with stakeholders at all levels.
• Communicating in fluent English with clients, colleagues, and external counsel.

Responsibilities

Legal Counsel - Commercial Contracts Lawyer for NORAM | BCD Meetings & Events

Full time - Latam based role (AR/BR/MX/CO)

Bring your commercial contracts expertise to BCD M&E and help power business across the Americas from a remote LATAM-based role. You’ll be the go‑to legal partner for sales, program management, procurement, finance, privacy, and supplier teams, with a primary focus on North America and additional support in LATAM. From client and supplier agreements to technology and multinational contracts, you’ll help turn complex legal needs into practical business solutions. If you enjoy fast-paced collaboration, smart negotiation, and making legal guidance approachable, you’ll fit right in.

If you’re good at

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, including client, supplier, technology, and multinational agreements
• Translating legal risk, contractual obligations, and regulatory considerations into clear, practical guidance for business teams
• Managing multiple priorities at once while staying organized, responsive, and detail-focused
• Building strong working relationships across functions and confidently partnering with stakeholders at all levels
• Communicating in fluent English, both written and verbal, with clients, colleagues, and external counsel

You might also have

• More than 2 years of experience in a reputable international western law firm and/or a multinational in‑house legal team
• Experience negotiating directly with clients’ counsel and commercial business teams
• A customer‑service mindset and a practical, solution‑oriented approach to legal support
• Exposure to the meetings and events industry
• A working understanding of data privacy and security considerations

You should know

• This is a full‑time role based in LATAM, primarily supporting North America and collaborating closely with US‑based teams, so some alignment with North American business hours is expected.
