GlobalLogic Inc. in Argentina seeks a Lead Software Quality Engineer to lead automated testing across mobile, web, and API platforms within a highly regulated enterprise. You will design and maintain scalable automation frameworks, integrate tests into CI/CD with GitLab, and mentor team members.

The role requires strong analytical skills, deep testing expertise, and effective communication to ensure delivery meets quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Formación

• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium, GitLab, and SQL.
• Testing across mobile, web, and API automation.
• Designing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks.
• CI/CD integration of test suites using GitLab for continuous testing.
• Exposure to AI tooling like Copilot or TrueTest for test creation and optimization.
• Experience in agile development within a regulated enterprise environment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead software quality engineering for enterprise-level product development in a highly regulated environment.
• Serve as lead test designer and key contributor to software quality within an Agile process.
• Review Product Requirement documents to define test strategy and test scope during planning cycles.
• Design, code, verify, test, and document moderately complex test automation scripts following standards.
• Set direction for test methodologies and automation across the team.
• Troubleshoot test failures with developers and DBAs, including SQL-based database debugging.
• Report test results and risks to stakeholders.

Core Technical Stack: Hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium, GitLab, and SQL.

Testing Scope: Proven experience in mobile, web, and API automation testing.

Framework Architecture: Expertise in designing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks.

CI/CD Integration: Experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to enable continuous testing.

AI Tooling: Exposure to AI tools such as Copilot or TrueTest to accelerate test case creation, automation development, and test optimization.

Environment Experience: Experience working in a fast-paced, Agile development process and a highly regulated enterprise environment.

Job responsibilities

Lead software quality engineering for enterprise-level product development in a highly regulated environment.

Serve as lead test designer and key contributor to software quality within an Agile process.

Review Product Requirement documents and Engineering Functional Specifications to define test strategy and scope test efforts during regular planning cycles.

Design, code, verify, test, document, amend, and refactor moderately complex test automation programs/scripts following agreed standards.

Assist in setting direction, processes, and general test methodologies for parallel software and automated test suite development.

Troubleshoot test failures across various environments alongside developers and DBAs (including database troubleshooting via SQL queries and log analysis).

Ensure test results and documentation are reported to stakeholders, highlighting identified issues and risks.

Conduct peer reviews of test cases and provide specialist guidance, training, and advice to less experienced team members.

Support adoption of quality methods, tools, policies, and standards across the team.
