Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Lead Sales Associate in Buenos Aires to provide exceptional customer service, manage cash transactions, stock and display merchandise, and maintain a clean store environment. The role includes supporting opening/closing duties and stepping in for Store Management when needed.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least six months of supervisory experience or related training.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandise presentation guides.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages).
• Ability to operate a cash register and handle payments.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposits.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total purchases; process payments and bag merchandise.
• Stock merchandise, restock and rotate displays; assist in creating displays and planograms.
• Clean the store and maintain facilities; take out trash and keep areas tidy.
• Open and close the store under direction of the Store Manager; support in their absence.
