Bechtel in Argentina seeks a permits and regulatory liaison to manage environmental permits for the execution of mining and infrastructure projects in Argentina. The role ensures engineering design, planning and field activities comply with national and provincial regulations and client environmental standards.

You will bridge engineering and regulatory authorities, translating legal requirements into verifiable design criteria and maintaining a permit route aligned with the project schedule.

Formación

• Electrical engineer degree and ten years of work-related experience in substation and line construction.
• High Voltage experience in at least 2 mining projects.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
• Participate in Fluor University (if applicable).

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical support to craft and supervision and help satisfy quality requirements on the project.
• Assist craftsmen, foremen, and project supervision with construction-related issues.
• Provide interpretation of design documents for construction managers, superintendents, and contractors.
• Establish and maintain communication between the company and the design engineer for timely flow of design documents.
• Coordinate the preparation and implementation of the project quality program when required by construction engineering.
• Other duties as assigned.
