Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to operate and improve a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private clouds in Mar del Plata, Argentina. You will handle automation, tooling, and incident management to ensure reliability and scale.

The role emphasizes strong Kubernetes production experience, Linux fundamentals, and ability to debug complex systems. Remote/office flexibility and USD-based compensation are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have 4+ years operating Kubernetes in production.
• Strong Linux and command line fundamentals.
• Experience with a public cloud provider (Azure or AWS).
• Nice-to-have: Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Tempo working knowledge; scripting in Python/Java; CI/CD and IaC with Helm or Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Kubernetes-based platform across public and private clouds.
• Work with observability tooling to ensure actionable alerts and updated runbooks.
• Manage incidents end-to-end including root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
• Onboard and support new clients onto the platform.
• Build automation and diagnostic tooling to reduce manual effort and improve performance.
• Identify and deliver process improvements.
• Support software and hardware upgrades and keep components up to date.
• Proactively manage capacity to scale the platform with demand.
