EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead Android Software Engineer to guide delivery, quality, and performance of Kotlin-first native Android apps. You will collaborate with product, UX/UI, and backend engineers to ship scalable features and refine architecture.

Responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining high-performance Android applications, integrating with backend services, writing tests, reviewing code, and coordinating releases to Google Play.

Formación

• 5+ years of native Android development experience.
• Proficient in Kotlin and Android SDK.
• Experience with MVVM/MVI and Clean Architecture.
• DI using Hilt or Dagger; Coroutines/Flow.
• UI with Jetpack Compose or XML layouts.
• Tests with JUnit and Espresso.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum; Jira/Confluence.
• English level B2 or higher.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance native Android apps using Kotlin.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver responsive screens per Material Design.
• Integrate with backend microservices and REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Review code to uphold quality and share knowledge.
• Create unit and UI tests to keep the app stable.
• Evaluate performance to improve speed, battery use, memory.
• Coordinate preparation and rollout of updates to Google Play.
