EPAM Systems is seeking an Android Software Engineer to build native Android apps with a Kotlin-first stack. You will craft polished UIs, connect to backend services, and collaborate with product, UX/UI, and backend peers in an Agile flow.

Responsibilities include developing high-performance Android apps, using modern architecture, and integrating with RESTful/GraphQL APIs. You will ensure quality via tests and participate in code reviews in a cross-functional team.

Formación

• 2+ years of native Android application development experience.
• Strong command of Kotlin and Android SDK.
• Familiarity with MVVM, MVI, and Clean Architecture.
• Experience with Hilt/Dagger for DI.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose or XML layouts.
• Proficient in unit/UI testing with JUnit and Espresso.
• Able to work in Agile/Scrum with Jira/Confluence.
• English proficiency at B2+ level or higher.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain high-performance native Android applications using Kotlin.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver responsive interfaces following Material Design.
• Integrate app with backend microservices and RESTful/GraphQL APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and knowledge sharing.
• Create unit and UI tests to ensure stability.
• Evaluate app performance and optimize speed, battery, and memory usage.
• Assist with app releases to Google Play Store.
