Avenga in Córdoba is looking for a Middle Java Engineer to join a high-impact banking project. The role focuses on modernizing legacy monoliths and building microservices, with a strong emphasis on autonomy and ownership.

You will work in a hybrid 3x2 model, three days per week at the Córdoba office, collaborating with teams across DevOps, data, and application layers to deliver scalable solutions.

Formación

• Strong knowledge of modernizing legacy monolithic applications.
• Solid experience with Java 8+.
• Understanding of refactoring and design patterns.
• Experience with microservices architectures.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestrations.
• Knowledge of API Gateway, Consul, and distributed configuration.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and migrations.
• Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of high-impact initiatives.

Responsabilidades

• Modernize and refactor existing Java monoliths with modularization.
• Design and develop microservices to support migration from monoliths.
• Work with relational databases and support distributed data structures.
• Implement integrations using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging tech.
• Contribute to containerization, API Gateway, Consul, CI/CD, and DevOps.
• Take ownership of high-impact initiatives with stakeholders.
