Avenga is seeking a Middle Java Backend Developer in Argentina’s Banking sector to join a team delivering scalable microservices and modernizing digital platform solutions. You will design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java 8+ and Spring Boot, implement REST APIs, ensure code quality, and contribute to a resilient, high‑performing architecture.

Formación

2+ years of Java backend development experience.
Strong with Spring Boot (2.x / 3.x), Spring Web, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
Solid knowledge of Microservices architecture and REST API design.
Proficient with Git workflows and Maven build processes.
Experience writing unit tests with JUnit and Mockito.
Experience with relational and non-relational databases.

Responsabilidades

Analyze requirements and design scalable backend solutions aligned with architectural guidelines.
Develop, maintain, and evolve microservices-based applications and RESTful APIs.
Write clean, maintainable code applying SOLID principles and design patterns.
Ensure software quality through unit testing and participation in code reviews.
Identify, analyze, and resolve incidents in production environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the full software development lifecycle.
