Job summary

Alignerr is seeking an Incident Response Analyst (AI Training) for a remote hourly contract. You will analyze real-world security events, evaluate AI-generated incident analyses, and review detection rules and playbooks to improve accuracy. Work asynchronously on your own schedule, 10–40 hours per week.

You should have 2+ years in SOC or IR, hands-on experience with SIEMs and investigation tooling, and strong written communication to document findings precisely. AI experience is not required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in SOC, incident response, or security operations.
• Hands-on familiarity with SIEM platforms, alert queues, and investigation tooling.
• Strong ability to triage signals - separating real threats from noise.
• Clear written communicator who can document findings precisely.

Responsibilities

• Analyze real-world security events, alerts, and incident cases for impact and root cause.
• Evaluate AI-generated incident analysis against actual SOC workflows and best practices.
• Review detection rules, alerting pipelines, and investigative playbooks for accuracy.
• Identify gaps where AI outputs miss, misclassify, or misinterpret security signals.
• Provide structured expert feedback that directly improves AI model performance.
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
