Cognizant in Argentina is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for a clinical protocol authoring platform. You will collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to deliver secure, compliant solutions.

You will work with Java/Spring Boot, .NET, Node.js, Python and explore APIs, microservices, auth, data models, and cloud-native deployments in a hybrid model.

Formación

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with strong backend development expertise.
• Hands-on experience developing applications using Java/Spring Boot, .NET, Node.js, Python, or another modern backend technology stack.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design, API development, microservices, distributed systems, and integration patterns.
• Experience designing and optimizing relational databases, SQL queries, and data models.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON, API versioning, event-driven architectures, and asynchronous processing.
• Knowledge of security best practices including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, RBAC, encryption, authentication, and authorization.
• Experience working with cloud-native platforms, containers, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and observability tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, integrations, and data models supporting clinical protocol authoring workflows.
• Build scalable solutions for content management, workflow orchestration, collaboration, approvals, versioning, audit trails, search, notifications, and reporting.
• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and integrations with enterprise platforms, identity providers, document generation services, and clinical systems.
• Implement secure coding practices, authorization controls, audit logging, encryption, and data privacy requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions while supporting application performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
