A maritime organization in Argentinia is seeking a qualified candidate to conduct research on the history of life at sea. The role involves developing presentations and educational programs and maintaining an archive of historical materials. Candidates should possess a degree in History or Maritime Studies and have at least 3 years of relevant experience. Strong research and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research on the history of life at sea, including maritime traditions, customs, and practices

  • Create engaging and informative presentations, exhibits, and educational programs for crew members and guests
  • Collaborate with other departments to incorporate historical elements into onboard activities and events
  • Respond to inquiries and provide information about the history of crew life at sea
  • Stay updated on current research and trends in maritime history and share this knowledge with the team
  • Assist with the preservation and restoration of historical artifacts and documents
  • Participate in the planning and execution of special projects and events related to crew life at sea history
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in History, Maritime Studies, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a maritime or museum setting
