Job summary

The Chemours Company is seeking a Plant Manager in El Dorado, AR to lead the Thermal and Specialized Solutions site, drive operational excellence, and ensure safe, compliant operations. You will oversee production, maintenance, engineering, and reliability while partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver growth and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Chemical Engineering preferred.
• 10+ years in manufacturing/operations in chemical/related industries with leadership.
• Proven experience in safe, compliant operations with PSM, environmental regulations, safety, and risk management.
• Experience managing plant operations, budgets, capex, and cost performance; track record of results.
• Strong technical knowledge of continuous manufacturing, with process optimization and reliability improvements.
• Experience leading diverse teams through coaching, mentoring and succession planning.
• Excellent communication and change leadership skills across a matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead all site operations including production, maintenance, engineering, and reliability.
• Ensure safe, compliant operations and maintain license to operate.
• Represent site with regulatory agencies and ensure environmental, safety and regulatory compliance.
• Drive production performance to meet quality, volume, cost and service goals.
• Foster a safety-first, high-performance culture and continuous improvement.
• Provide strategic leadership for workforce planning, talent development and performance management.
• Own site performance across safety, environment, quality, reliability, cost, productivity, and cash.
• Lead restart of critical manufacturing processes to support business growth.
• Identify opportunities to increase capacity, reduce costs, and improve operational effectiveness.
• Lead plant turnarounds, maintenance strategies, and reliability improvement programs.
• Ensure timely, on-budget execution of capital projects.
