The ideal candidate is a proven leader in data and digital marketing analytics who thrives in ambiguous, high‑growth environments. They will be responsible for hiring and developing a talented team, ensuring delivery excellence, and shaping the regional analytics practice as a strategic complement to our U.S. team.

What You'll Do

  • Team Building: Lead the hiring, onboarding, and development of the Buenos Aires analytics team, starting from the ground up and scaling strategically in partnership with global leadership.
  • Strategic Analytics: Define and execute an analytics strategy for the LATAM team that aligns with global objectives and drives measurable value for clients across analytics, data science, and business intelligence.
  • Data & Insights: Oversee data collection, analysis, and interpretation to optimize client outcomes across customer engagement, marketing effectiveness, and overall business performance.
  • Advanced Analytics & Modeling: Apply and guide the application of predictive analytics, machine learning, and attribution modeling to enhance personalization, campaign efficiency, and ROI.
  • Measurement & Reporting: Define and implement KPIs, dashboards, and reporting structures that deliver clear, actionable insights for both clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with U.S. Analytics leadership and cross‑functional teams — including marketing, product, and technology — to integrate data into strategic decision‑making at the global level.
  • Culture & Development: Build a culture of curiosity, rigor, and continuous improvement; mentor team members and foster individual growth aligned with DEPT®'s craft standards.
  • Technology & Innovation: Drive R&D into AI‑driven analytics and automated insight generation; champion the adoption of best‑in‑class tools and methodologies within the LATAM team.
  • Privacy & Compliance: Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance regulations across all client and internal work.
  • Communication & Influence: Translate complex technical concepts into compelling business narratives, effectively communicating with both technical practitioners and senior non‑technical stakeholders.
What You Bring
  • 12+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or business intelligence, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing multi‑disciplinary data teams.
  • Demonstrated experience building or scaling an analytics practice, ideally within an agency, consultancy, or matrixed global organization.
  • Proven track record of applying analytics to marketing, digital experiences, and customer lifecycle management.
  • Strong technical proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar data analytics tools; familiarity with AI/ML applications in a marketing context is a strong plus.
