Job summary

Fluency in English and Spanish is required, along with a commercial legal background and experience in a highly regulated industry such as online gambling.

Qualifications

• Commercial legal background from a law firm or in-house
• Advanced English and fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken
• Ability to resolve complex legal and commercial challenges with sound judgment
• Highly motivated and proactive, with a desire to learn and develop
• Excellent attention to detail, with ability to provide solid commercial solutions
• Proven ability to work effectively and proactively in a team
• Experience in online gambling, sports betting, or similar highly regulated industry

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Review and advise on marketing promotions and advertisements to ensure compliance with consumer law and advertising standards
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments while liaising with state regulators and government officials
• Advise on compliance and regulatory matters while assisting with filings and submissions to government agencies
• Complete license applications and coordinate documentation across relevant state agencies
• Advise on day-to-day needs from the business, providing practical and commercially sound legal guidance
