Job summary

Tether seeks a Program Manager to lead mining initiatives in Central America, coordinating exploration, permitting, and operational readiness. The role requires 6+ years in mining, strong leadership, and proficiency in MS Project or Primavera, with fluency in Spanish and English. Global, remote collaboration is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Industrial/Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Postgraduate qualification in Project/Program Management, Business, or related field preferred.
• 6+ years in mining with 3–5 years managing complex programs or multi-project portfolios.
• PM certification (PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent) strongly preferred.
• Experience with government authorities, regulators, and local communities, ideally in Latin America.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end program management for mining initiatives in Central America, coordinating exploration, studies, permitting, and readiness.
• Define program scope, objectives, milestones, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and external consultants across disciplines.
• Manage relations with authorities, regulators, and local institutions to advance permits and policy engagement.
• Drive stakeholder engagement programs aligned with ESG commitments.
