Job summary

IQVIA in Buenos Aires, Argentina (also Mexico City and São Paulo) seeks a Senior Medical Director, Hematology/Oncology to provide strategic medical leadership across global clinical research programs. As Medical Monitor, you will interface with sponsors and sites to ensure compliant, efficient trial execution and safe patient care.

You will oversee medical monitoring plans, guide protocol interpretation, safety reviews, and data interpretation, collaborating with safety teams and study teams.

Qualifications

• MD from an accredited medical school.
• 5–7+ years of clinical experience as a licensed physician in oncology/hematology or related fields.
• Board certification or eligibility in the relevant therapeutic area strongly preferred.
• Advanced English with ability to communicate across global stakeholders.
• Proven experience in clinical research as a study physician/investigator or within pharma, CRO, or biotech environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical and scientific input to clinical research programs, including review of study protocols, data, and safety materials.
• Ensure medical activities comply with GCP and operate with high efficiency.
• Develop and oversee medical monitoring plans and serve as the primary medical resource for study teams and sites.
• Support site selection, investigator engagement, and patient recruitment/retention strategies.
• Review safety data and contribute to safety reporting and regulatory interactions as needed.
• Contribute to data interpretation and development of clinical study reports.
