CKH Group seeks an experienced General Ledger Accountant to join our finance team. The role partners with our U.S.-based team and requires strong attention to detail, independent work style, and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day GL activities, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and accounting principles. Excellent communication and ET-hour availability are essential.

Formación

• 4-10 years of professional experience in general ledger accounting or general accounting.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and GL processes.
• Hands-on experience with journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned responsibilities, and manage multiple priorities.
• Availability to work U.S. Eastern Time (ET) hours.

Responsabilidades

• Perform day-to-day general ledger accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, adjustments, and reclassifications.
• Perform balance sheet and account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Review financial information and identify errors, inconsistencies, or unusual transactions.
• Work closely with internal teams and U.S.-based stakeholders to resolve accounting issues.
• Maintain accurate and well-organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Ensure accounting activities are performed in accordance with internal policies and applicable accounting principles.
• Assist with financial reporting and other accounting-related tasks as required.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to making accounting processes more efficient.
• Handle ad-hoc accounting requests and support the team with additional GL-related activities as needed.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced General Ledger Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience in general ledger accounting, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This role will work closely with the U.S.-based team, so excellent communication skills and the ability to work U.S. Eastern Time (ET) hours are essential.

Prior experience working with U.S. companies or clients is highly preferred.
