Odyssey is seeking a Data Platform Lead / Cloud Systems Architect to own and evolve our enterprise analytics ecosystem. You will manage Terraform deployments and our GenAI infrastructure, while guiding teams to invest based on future value rather than past expenditures.

You will architect multi-region Databricks on AWS, enforce secure networking, govern MLflow, DGAB, and manage data products with clear contracts and SLOs. Strong vendor management and privacy controls are essential.

Formación

• 8+ years in Data Engineering/Architecture with production mastery in Databricks on AWS

Responsabilidades

• Architect and maintain multi-region Databricks on AWS environment with secure networking
• Design infrastructure for Generative AI including MLflow governance and GPU clusters
• Enforce reproducibility via Terraform and Databricks Asset Bundles
• Audit legacy choices and challenge status quo to avoid sunk costs
• Lead FinOps reviews with AWS Cost Explorer and Databricks system tables
• Own vendor relationships (Databricks, AWS, Fivetran, Sigma) for outcomes
• Drive Data Mesh by treating data assets as Data Products with contracts and SLOs
• Design and enforce data privacy frameworks (GDPR/CCPA/SOC2) including RTBF workflows
• Administer Sigma Computing environment and promote assets Dev→Production
• RBAC policies across Unity Catalog and AWS IAM ensuring least privilege
• Manage high-volume data replication pipelines with Fivetran and AWS DMS
• Review code for high-impact pipelines and enforce best practices
• Collaborate with analytics, data science and business teams on scalable solutions
• Foster innovation by adopting emerging technologies and best practices
