Darwoft busca un Software Engineer Java Senior para evolucionar microservicios en un entorno Cloud Native y enfocado en IA. Se valorará experiencia con Spring Boot, AWS, Docker y Kubernetes, así como prácticas de pruebas y documentación técnica.

La posición es de relación de dependencia para Argentina, con horario laboral local y posibilidad de trabajo remoto. Se ofrece desarrollo técnico, capacitación y un equipo enfocado en entregar MVPs y soluciones a clientes internacionales.

Formación

• Experiencia >5 años en backend con Java 17+ y Spring Boot.
• Dominio de bases de datos relacionales y NoSQL.
• Conocimientos de control de versiones y CI/CD (Git/GitLab/Jenkins).
• Experiencia en AWS y orquestación con Docker y Kubernetes.
• Residencia en Argentina y disponibilidad para encuentros presenciales semanales en Córdoba o BA.

• Diseñar y desarrollar microservicios escalables con Java 17+ y Spring Boot.
• Aplicar patrones de diseño para código mantenible.
• Diseñar e integrar APIs REST, colas y arquitecturas event-driven.

Sobre el Rol / About the Role

Buscamos un Software Engineer Java Senior con mentalidad de owner y una sólida trayectoria técnica para sumarse a nuestro equipo de desarrollo. En este rol, tu misión principal será evolucionar microservicios críticos, asegurando la escalabilidad, la disponibilidad y la calidad técnica en un entorno Cloud Native. Además, se espera que demuestres apertura hacia la innovación, apoyándote en herramientas de vanguardia (IA) para potenciar la eficiencia y optimizar el ciclo de delivery del equipo.

Responsabilidades / Responsibilities

• Diseñar y desarrollar microservicios robustos utilizando Java 17+ y Spring Boot, garantizando la escalabilidad del producto.
• Garantizar la excelencia técnica mediante la aplicación de patrones de diseño (Clean Architecture, Hexagonal, MVC) para asegurar un código mantenible y eficiente.
• Diseñar e implementar soluciones de integración y mensajería a través de APIs REST, procesos asincrónicos y arquitecturas orientadas a eventos (Queues/MQ).
• Operar dentro del ecosistema Cloud & DevOps, colaborando en el despliegue y mantenimiento de servicios en AWS mediante Docker y Kubernetes.
• Asegurar la calidad End-to-End del software mediante la escritura y ejecución de tests unitarios, de integración y funcionales.
• Fomentar una cultura de innovación, utilizando y promoviendo el uso de agentes de IA (Copilot, Cursor, etc.) para optimizar los procesos de desarrollo.
• Contribuir a la visibilidad técnica del proyecto mediante documentación clara y la detección temprana de bloqueos o riesgos que afecten al negocio.

Requisitos / Requirements

Must-Have

• Experiencia comprobable de más de 5 años en desarrollo backend utilizando Java (versión 17 o superior) y el framework Spring Boot.
• Sólido manejo y diseño de bases de datos Relacionales y No Relacionales.
• Experiencia real con herramientas de control de versiones y flujos de trabajo (Tooling ): Git, GitLab y flujos de CI/CD (Jenkins o similares).
• Familiaridad y experiencia de trabajo en entornos AWS y orquestación de contenedores con Docker y Kubernetes (K8s).
• Residencia en Argentina, con disponibilidad para asistir a encuentros presenciales semanales en Córdoba o Buenos Aires.

Nice-to-Have

• Conocimientos prácticos en NodeJS y TypeScript.
• Experiencia previa con programación reactiva utilizando Spring WebFlux.
• Manejo de herramientas para la definición y documentación de contratos (Swagger, RAML).
• Foco en Observabilidad y Performance, incluyendo el monitoreo de métricas y la optimización de sistemas críticos.

Our client is a remote product studio that builds MVPs and custom software for startups and companies past the idea stage. Clients hire them for a fixed-scope MVP or for a product team billed by the two-week sprint, and the whole team uses AI coding tools every day.

They've been at it since 2020 and were profitable in 2025, with a 30% net margin. After building their own AI systems, they tripled monthly revenue with the same team size. Clients rate them 4.9 out of 5 in verified reviews, and the startups they build for have raised more than $25M in venture funding.

Your Role

You’ll join the team building workflow software for one of the studio’s clients: a live product that needs new workflow features while the existing ones keep running. The client’s own engineers commit to the same repo, so every new table, permission and workflow goes in next to code someone else is changing. The weight is on the server side, from the SQL database on Azure up through the API, and you also build the React and TypeScript screens that sit on top.

AI coding tools draft most of the specs, tests and migrations. You direct them, read every diff line by line, and answer for what merges. If you’d rather write most of the code by hand, this probably isn’t the right seat.

You report to the studio’s leadership and work day to day with the lead developer and the product manager, who sets the acceptance criteria for each sprint. Success means delivering four to five features per two-week sprint, each verified before merge, and owning one area end to end (such as the task engine or the legacy migration) without breaking a live feature.

You Bring:

• 4+ years building full-stack web applications and releasing them to production
• Experience working in a codebase you didn’t write, learning its conventions before changing it
• Hands‑on work on workflow software where different user roles see different data, with approvals, task queues or state machines and an audit log or versioned history
• React, TypeScript and SQL on Azure, including schema design and migrations
• Daily use of Cursor, Claude Code or a similar AI coding tool on production work, with tests and CI behind it
• Clear written and spoken English
• Experience delivering in fixed‑scope sprints with branches, code review and feature flags

Bonus Points:

• Work in a regulated setting such as finance, health or insurance
• A migration from a legacy system, with reconciliation and duplicate review
• Time as an outside vendor committing to a client’s repo
• Project rules, custom prompts or agent setups for AI coding tools that your team adopted
• Spanish, since the platform is bilingual

• Fully remote contractor role from LATAM, full time at about 40 hours a week
