HTD Health is seeking a Frontend Developer to help build secure, scalable healthcare applications using TypeScript, React, and Next.js. You will create intuitive user experiences and ensure privacy, data integrity, and compliance across the platform.

You’ll collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to translate requirements into high-quality UI components, integrate with REST APIs and third-party services, and contribute to performance, accessibility, and testing efforts.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain modern web applications using TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Develop reusable, maintainable frontend components.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to translate requirements into interfaces.
• Integrate frontend with REST APIs and third-party services.
• Implement authentication and authorization flows using AWS Cognito, including MFA and OIDC/SAML-based federation.
• Build interfaces with RBAC and granular permissions.
• Ensure handling of healthcare data and HIPAA/PHI compliance.
• Implement and maintain audit-related functionality across the app.
• Write and maintain automated tests using Playwright, Vitest, and RTL.
• Participate in code reviews and frontend architecture decisions.
• Improve frontend performance, reliability, accessibility, and UX.

Frontend Developer — TypeScript / React About the Role

We are looking for a Frontend Developer to join our team and help build secure, scalable healthcare applications.

You’ll work primarily with TypeScript, React, and Next.js, building intuitive and reliable user experiences for applications where security, privacy, and data integrity are critical.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on complex frontend applications and cares deeply about code quality, usability, and maintainability.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain modern web applications using TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Develop reusable, maintainable, and scalable frontend components.
• Work closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to translate requirements into high-quality user experiences.
• Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and third-party services.
• Implement authentication and authorization flows using AWS Cognito, including MFA and OIDC/SAML-based identity federation.
• Build interfaces with role-based access control (RBAC) and granular, per-case permissions.
• Ensure appropriate handling of sensitive healthcare data and contribute to maintaining HIPAA/PHI compliance requirements.
• Implement and maintain audit-related functionality across the application.
• Write and maintain automated tests using Playwright, Vitest, and React Testing Library.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and frontend architecture decisions.
• Help improve frontend performance, reliability, accessibility, and overall user experience.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong professional experience with TypeScript.
• Solid experience building production applications with React.
• Experience with Next.js.
• Strong understanding of modern frontend architecture and best practices.
• Experience working with REST APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services.
• Experience writing automated tests, ideally with Playwright, Vitest, and/or React Testing Library.
• Understanding of authentication and authorization concepts such as MFA, OAuth/OIDC, SAML, and RBAC.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS Cognito.
• Experience building applications that handle sensitive or regulated data.
• Previous experience working in healthcare or other highly regulated industries.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and PHI requirements.
• Experience with granular permissions and audit trails.
• Experience integrating with third-party platforms such as Salesforce.
