Reboot Monkey seeks a Freelance Data Center Technician to deliver on-demand support for global data centers. You will install, configure, and maintain servers and networking gear, monitor operations remotely, and resolve complex hardware and software issues to ensure uptime and reliability.

The role requires deep data center experience, independence, and strong collaboration with remote teams. Candidates should be able to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends when needed.

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, networking equipment, and other hardware to ensure uptime.
• Monitor data center operations remotely and on-site, diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls (Cisco/Juniper) for secure network operations.
• Manage Linux and Windows systems, apply patches, and perform security updates.
• Document all tasks and report system performance to remote management.
• Implement security protocols to protect data center infrastructure.
• Collaborate with remote IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders on projects.
