Reboot Monkey in Mar del Plata, Argentina is seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for freelance/contract work on-site to support mission-critical infrastructure at premier data center facilities.

The role involves hardware installations, cabling, server racking, cross-connects, troubleshooting, and thorough documentation. Candidates should have 2+ years of data center experience, strong English, and be able to lift 50+ lbs on-site.

Formación

• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Professional English communication.
• On-site availability in Mar del Plata.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in raised floor environments.
• DCIM and ticketing system familiarity preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic)
• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling
• Perform cross-connects and patch panel work
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues
• Document all work with photos and detailed notes
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams
