Job summary

EPTA GROUP in Rosario, Argentina seeks a Finance Analyst with 3-5 years in manufacturing to lead inventory valuation, cost control and performance reporting. You will work with SAP and Excel to analyze variances, monitor stock, and support budget processes.

The role requires business analytics experience, upper-intermediate English, and dashboard skills with Power BI or Qlik Sense. You will produce structured reports on costs and industrial operations to inform management decisions.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably multinational.
• Strong command of SAP and Excel is required.
• Experience with business analytics and data-driven decision making.
• English proficiency at upper-intermediate level is required.

Responsibilities

• Inventory valuation methods experience and stock monitoring.
• Production variances analysis and plant efficiency reporting.
• Develop hour rate per department and monitor across plants.
• PPV analysis and variances with forecast and actuals.
• Support budgeting, quarterly forecasts and ad-hoc financial analysis.

Functions

• - Inventory valuation methods experience
• - Standard cost setting (Standard cost evaluation vs actual, Overhead and hour rate calculation, material price standard vs actual, control and insert of purchase overhead in material master data according to the import cost)
• - Plant efficiencies report- quantities, labor productivity, earned hour analysis
• - Hour rate per department and plant elaboration and monitoring
• - Stock monitoring (commodities evaluation), Purchase Price Variation (PPV) analysis
• - Production orders variances
• - Analysis of variations between forecasting, budget, and actual results (P&L and BS), according to organization specialized control model, systems, procedures, timeline
• - Inventory excess and obsolete reserve and analysis
• - Plant postprocessing of error records from automatic good movements
• - Support management in coordinating the budget process, including quarterly forecasts and ad-hoc financial analysis
• - Provide comprehensive reporting on structure costs and industrial operations

• - Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or a related field.
