Job summary

MTRES is a private label food manufacturer seeking a Foreign Trade Executive to manage international shipments from order to customer delivery. You will coordinate orders with production plants, confirm packing lists and monitor production schedules.

The role requires at least 3 years in import/export, knowledge of Incoterms, shipping documents, and customs procedures, plus advanced English and strong written communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in International Business, Foreign Trade, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in import or export operations, ideally in food.
• Knowledge of Incoterms, shipping documentation and customs procedures.
• Advanced English for daily email communication with customers and partners.
• Organized, consistent follow-up and strong written communication.

Responsibilities

• Place orders with production plants, confirm packing lists and follow up on production schedules.
• Manage bookings, shipping documents (BL, commercial invoice, packing list, certificates) and clearance with shipping lines, forwarders and customs brokers.
• Keep customers informed about the status of their cargo.
• Support the sanitary and regulatory documentation required for each shipment.
• Handle sample shipments to customers.
• Request and compare freight and distribution quotes.
