Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a financial professional to advise clients, plan wealth strategies, and refer opportunities to internal partners. The role centers on building customized financial plans using brokerage products and banking solutions while meeting regulatory and licensing requirements.

The candidate will triage client needs, recommend suitable investments, and expand the client base through referrals. Strong relationship, communication, and risk-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Currently holds Series 7 & 66 (63 & 65 in lieu of 66) licenses. If 66 is not held but 63 or 65 is, an offer requires passing the missing series within 60 days.
• Has at least one year experience in the investments industry with training and knowledge of investment products and services.
• Has at least one year experience in financial services and/or a sales environment with goals met or exceeded.
• Demonstrates ability to build and nurture strong relationships, collaborate effectively, and communicate confidently with clients.

Responsibilities

• Works with clients to plan short and long-term financial goals by building a financial plan with brokerage products (stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities) and banking/managed solutions.
• Recommends banking and investment strategies aligned with client goals.
• Triages client requests and makes referrals to internal service providers based on needs and asset thresholds.
• Mitigates and controls risk as part of daily activities.
• Identifies and engages potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele.
• Provides coaching and feedback to referral partners based on client needs and product services.
