Outpost is seeking a Finance & Operations Manager for Argentina to own the local entity, ensuring compliance, financial health, and operational efficiency. You will oversee accounting, tax, day-to-day operations, and the local commercial aspects of our business in Argentina.
You will collaborate with global teams, external advisors, and regulators to navigate local requirements while driving growth in a fast-moving, distributed international team.
Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina (on-site)
Employment Type: Full-time
Outpost is cross-border commerce infrastructure, built by veterans of Revolut, Adyen, Airwallex, and Wayflyer. We operate dedicated local entities across 58 jurisdictions, giving enterprise merchants access to local acquiring, alternative payment methods and full tax compliance through a single integration. We handle the local complexity so merchants can focus on growth.
We operate a dedicated legal entity in Argentina and are growing fast. This is a foundational hire for our Argentine operations.
You will serve as the on-the-ground owner of Outpost's Argentine entity, responsible for keeping it compliant, financially healthy, and operationally sharp. This hands-on position spans accounting, tax compliance, day-to-day operations, and the local commercial side of our business: you will be the person in the room in Buenos Aires running how we sell, price, and serve transactions in Argentina. You'll collaborate closely with global ops, finance and commercial teams, plus external advisors including Argentine legal counsel.

Liaise with PSP partners operating in Argentina (including Mercado Pago) on operational and compliance matters
Support commercial operations: contracts, local vendor management, regulatory correspondence
Act as the primary local point of contact for regulators, auditors, and banking partners
5+ years in accounting and tax compliance in Argentina, preferably in fintech, payments, or financial services
Deep working knowledge of Argentina's tax regime, including VAT, IIBB and inflation accounting
Hands-on experience with Argentina's electronic invoicing system and ARCA portals
BCRA foreign-exchange regulatory framework experience is advantageous
Comfortable operating in fast-moving, internationally distributed teams
Fluent Spanish; working English required for global team communication
Someone energized by building, not just maintaining — this entity is growing and the role will grow with it
The company is at an inflection point. Cross-border commerce infrastructure addresses one of the most important problems in global trade. You will own Argentina, a market at the centre of everything Outpost does in Latin America, with real scope and accountability from day one.
We work together in person in London 5 days a week. We believe the hardest problems are solved in the room.
