Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Finance and Administration Specialist - Taxes in Buenos Aires. The role leads corporate finance and accounting for the new Buenos Aires Corporate Office, ensuring compliance with Bechtel policies and local statutory requirements while supporting process setup, controls and reporting.

The position will evolve with growth, handling tax filings, accounting integrity, and cross-functional coordination to deliver accurate financial statements and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and CPA or equivalent registration.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GL, reconciliations and financial statements.
• Experience in multinational or project-based environments with tax compliance.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Lead Finance & Accounting activities for the Buenos Aires Office, including gl, ap, ar, taxes and statutory reporting.
• Maintain corporate and statutory books with accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare financial statements, trial balances and supporting schedules.
• Manage cash flow and forecasts in coordination with regional offices.
• Ensure timely tax filings and statutory submissions; support audits and inspections.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
