Job summary

Atlas Copco Specialty Rental North America is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide expert repair services for our industrial solutions in a hybrid role with travel across the United States. You will ensure equipment performance and safety while supporting customer operations in various environments.

Based in the Santa Fe Springs area, the role requires maintaining fleets, performing preventative maintenance, and documenting all work using our hardware and software.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of field service experience in industrial equipment.
• Electromechanical degree or relevant training.
• Experience in electrical, hydraulic and/or pneumatic systems.
• Good command of English; another language is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Customer Support Manager.
• Maintain fleet in the field.
• Repair down equipment in the field and at customer locations.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment throughout the territory.
• Document all work performed daily using company hardware and software.

Your role

Your mission as the Field Service Engineer is to provide expert repair services for our technology solutions, delivering unmatched customer satisfaction and upholding the highest standards of safety. Your work is important for supporting the operational success and technological advancement of industries relying on these technologies.

You will

• Report directly to the Customer Support Manager.
• Maintain fleet in the field
• Repair down equipment in the field and at customer locations
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment throughout the territory
• Develop and optimize efficient processes and routines
• Improve measureale success to business targets
• Document all work performed daily by using company provided hardware and software

To succeed, you will need

• You have 2 - 3+ years of experience as an industrial related field service mechanic
• You have an appropriate electromechanical degree or training
• You have demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, overhaul and repair of different industtrial equipment including electrical, hydraulics and/or pneumatics
• You have a good command in English and a second language knowledge is a bonus
• You have high energy levels
• You will be expected to lift up to 50lbs and work in industrial environments including extremes in temperature with walking, standing, reaching, bending, and kneeling

Job location

You will be part of our customer center in Santa Fe Springs, CA. You will join a dynamic field service team, working in a hybrid role and spending a significant amount of time traveling to visit customers within your designated area, United States (US).
