Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance on Varian Medical Systems linear accelerators and imaging systems across customer sites, primarily in the Greater Boston area. You will manage schedules, perform diagnostics, and coordinate with customers to minimize downtime.

Candidates should have HS degree or equivalent, strong electronics knowledge, and the ability to travel to multiple sites; you will document work orders and maintain tools as

Qualifications

• Strong time management and communication skills with customers and internal teams.
• Ability to read and apply technical documentation and procedures.
• Basic knowledge of electronic, electro-mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing systems.
• Familiar with handheld test equipment including DVM/DMM and oscilloscope.

Responsibilities

• Proactively perform periodic and preventive maintenance on Linear Accelerators and related medical equipment.
• Manage daily/weekly schedule to service regions effectively.
• Elevate incidents when necessary and request assistance as needed.
• Complete field service work orders and expense reports; manage parts and documentation.
• Communicate follow up actions to the assigned representative.
