Chevron in Argentina is seeking a seasoned Chemical Treatment & Corrosion Engineer for a 7x7 rotation at the El Trapial Field. The role focuses on designing and leading chemical treatment, corrosion monitoring, and related field activities to enhance OE, reliability, and cost performance.

Expatriate assignments are not considered. The candidate will interact with operations, maintenance, and service providers, ensuring safety and compliance with HSE standards while driving cost-efficient

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required in Petroleum, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in chemical treatment and corrosion control strategies.
• Experience assessing and interpreting chemical treatment monitoring data and recommending changes to corrosion control.
• Intermediate English required; advanced English preferred.

Aufgaben

• Design, manage, and implement chemical treatment and corrosion control strategies, including monitoring, inspection, and reporting.
• Provide technical assessment of monitoring data and recommend changes to corrosion programs using industry standards.
• Serve as SME for water, oil, and gas treatment facilities to improve OE, production, reliability, and cost performance.
• Lead field activities with safety at the forefront and ensure compliance with process safety and HSE standards.
• Forecast operating costs and track facility improvements related to chemical products in the field.
• Propose and lead medium- and long-term optimization initiatives to reduce total treatment costs.
• Identify, evaluate, and propose new technologies.
