PwC Argentina is seeking an External Audit - Experienced Associate for our Acceleration Center Buenos Aires. You will conduct audits, apply GAAS/GAAP, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across Advisory, Assurance, Tax and Business Services.

You will develop your skills through hands-on learning, working with diverse client portfolios, and building strong client relationships while growing your professional brand in the firm’s global network.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics is required.
  • 1 year of experience or more.
  • Oral and written proficiency in English is required.

Responsabilidades

  • Conducting financial statement audits to evaluate compliance with regulations and internal controls.
  • Applying auditing methodologies to assess financial reporting and disclosure accuracy.
  • Analyzing financial transactions and statements to identify potential risks and discrepancies.
  • Collaborating with team members to gather and interpret data for audit purposes.
  • Utilizing GAAS and GAAP in audit processes.
  • Reviewing and verifying financial documents to support audit conclusions.
  • Engaging in client management to address audit findings and recommendations.

  • Monitoring and analyzing financial trends to inform audit strategies.
  • Documenting audit processes and findings for transparency and accountability.
  • Understanding Information Security and Data Protection practices.

As an External Audit - Experienced Associate, you will engage in providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information, enhancing the credibility and reliability of this information with a variety of stakeholders. Within our Assurance practice, you will focus on obtaining reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements as a whole are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error, and to issue an auditor's report that includes the auditor's opinion.


As an Associate, you will be driven by curiosity and contribute to client engagement and projects while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will be exposed to clients to learn how to build meaningful client connections, manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources. Responsibilities


  • Conducting financial statement audits to evaluate compliance with regulations and internal controls

  • Applying auditing methodologies to assess financial reporting and disclosure accuracy

  • Analyzing financial transactions and statements to identify potential risks and discrepancies

  • Collaborating with team members to gather and interpret data for audit purposes

  • Utilizing Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in audit processes

  • Reviewing and verifying financial documents to support audit conclusions

  • Engaging in client management to address audit findings and recommendations

  • Developing technical accounting skills to enhance audit quality and effectiveness

  • Monitoring and analyzing financial trends to inform audit strategies
  • Documenting audit processes and findings for transparency and accountability

  • Understanding the importance of responsible Information Management, including Information Security and Data Protection

  • Ensuring correct Information Security Management practices


What You Must Have


  • At least a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Public Accounting, Business Administration, Economics with at least 80% of University Degree completed

  • At least 1 years of experience

  • Oral and written proficiency in English required
