PwC Argentina is seeking an External Audit Associate in Buenos Aires to perform independent assessments of financial statements and internal controls. You will contribute to client engagements, learn GAAP/GAAS, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality audit services.

As an entry-level role, you will engage in audits, analyze data, and grow your technical accounting knowledge while embracing a culture of learning and inclusion within PwC accelaration center Buenos Aires.

Formación

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics (70% completed)
• Entry-level role suitable for final-year students or recent graduates
• Proficiency in English (oral and written) required

As an External Audit - Associate, you will engage in providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements and internal controls, enhancing the credibility and reliability of information for a variety of stakeholders. Within our Assurance practice, you will focus on obtaining reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements as a whole are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error, and issue an auditor’s report that includes the auditor’s opinion.

• Conducting financial statement audits to assess compliance with regulations and internal controls
• Analyzing financial data to identify patterns and discrepancies
• Applying auditing methodologies to evaluate financial reporting and disclosure

• Gathering and interpreting data from various sources to support audit conclusions
• Reviewing and verifying financial documents for accuracy and completeness
• Utilizing Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) in audit processes
• Monitoring and analyzing financial trends to inform audit strategies
• Documenting audit processes and findings in accordance with firm standards
• Engaging in continuous learning to enhance technical accounting skills and knowledge
• Understanding the importance of responsible Information Management, including Information Security and Data Protection
• Ensuring correct Information Security Management practices

What You Must Have

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Business Administration, Economics with at least 70% of University Degree completed
• Client service associate positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are completing or have recently completed their final academic year of educational requirements.
• Oral and written proficiency in English required
