Job summary

PwC’s Acceleration Center Buenos Aires seeks an External Audit Associate to work with our global teams across Advisory, Assurance, Tax and Business Services. You’ll contribute to audit procedures for private clients, building your skills through hands-on learning in a fast-paced environment.

This role focuses on gathering financial information, testing internal controls, and applying auditing standards, while developing commercial awareness and upholding Information Security practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration 80% complete or completed.
• Minimum 1 year of experience.
• Proficiency in English (oral and written) required.

Responsibilities

• Support external audit procedures for private company clients by gathering and organizing financial records and schedules.
• Perform walkthroughs of accounting processes and document internal controls, risks, and test results.
• Apply auditing standards and firm guidance while completing workpapers, confirmations, and detail testing.
• Analyze financial statement data to identify patterns, variances, and exceptions.
• Prepare clear documentation and status updates for senior review.
• Assist with compliance testing, process documentation, and issue tracking across client engagements.
• Use audit software and data analysis tools to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Develop commercial awareness of client operations and reporting requirements.
