PwC Acceleration Center Buenos Aires is hiring an External Audit Associate to perform independent assessments of financial statements and internal controls. You will join a diverse client portfolio and work with global teams across Advisory, Assurance, Tax and Business Services to deliver high-quality audit work.

You will build client connections, manage small projects, and develop your technical accounting and data analysis skills in a collaborative environment that values curiosity and growth.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Economics with at least 70% completed.
• English proficiency required (oral and written).
• Entry-level role for final-year students completing degree requirements.

As an External Audit - Associate, you will engage in providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements and internal controls, enhancing the credibility and reliability of information for a variety of stakeholders. Within our Assurance practice, you will focus on obtaining reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements as a whole are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error, and issue an auditor’s report that includes the auditor’s opinion.

As an Associate, you will be driven by curiosity and contribute to client engagement and projects while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. Responsibilities

• Conducting financial statement audits to assess compliance with regulations and internal controls
• Analyzing financial data to identify patterns and discrepancies
• Applying auditing methodologies to evaluate financial reporting and disclosure
• Collaborating with team members to deliver quality audit services to clients
• Gathering and interpreting data from various sources to support audit conclusions
• Reviewing and verifying financial documents for accuracy and completeness
• Utilizing Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) in audit processes
• Monitoring and analyzing financial trends to inform audit strategies
• Documenting audit processes and findings in accordance with firm standards
• Engaging in continuous learning to enhance technical accounting skills and knowledge
• Understanding the importance of responsible Information Management, including Information Security and Data Protection
• Ensuring correct Information Security Management practices

What You Must Have

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s degree in at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Business Administration, Economics with at least 70% of University Degree completed
• Client service associate positions are entry‑level roles intended for job seekers who are completing or have recently completed their final academic year of educational requirements.
• Oral and written proficiency in English required
