Job summary

Qualifications

• Verifiable experience in environmental processing: study, submission, response and approvals.
• Experience interacting with provincial and national agencies and supervising consultants.
• Knowledge of environmental impact assessment methodologies and mitigation planning.
• Proven ability to translate regulatory requirements into design constraints and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage permits matrix, identify competent bodies, submission deadlines and processing timelines.
• Prepare and update Environmental Impact Report and biennial updates with required documentation.
• Manage sectoral permits: water use, effluent, emissions, waste, soil movement, native vegetation and hazardous materials transport.
• Maintain dialogue with authorities, respond to observations and audits, track critical route permits.
• Define environmental baselines (air, water, soils, flora/fauna) and supervise consultants.
