Kidango is seeking a dedicated early childhood assistant to help plan, prepare, and implement daily lessons aligned with developmental goals. You will help create the classroom environment, supervise children, and support families with pertinent communications.

The role emphasizes safety, inclusivity, and flexibility, with responsibilities across activities, transitions, and collaboration with staff. Strong preference for bilingual speakers and prior child-care experience.

Formación

• GED/HS Diploma required.
• 6 ECE units required.
• Experience with young children preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in planning, preparing, and implementing daily lessons and activities aligned with early childhood development goals.
• Assist in planning and preparing the learning environment, and materials and supplies.
• Supervise and engage children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and transitions.
• Support children with diverse learning needs, including those with disabilities or language barriers.
• Assist in the Desired Results process.
• Observe and document child behavior and developmental progress as directed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
• Communicate with parents as directed by a supervisor.
• Ensure health, safety, and well-being of all children in the agency.
• Assist with diapering, toileting, and personal care as needed.
• Support volunteers as requested.
• Attend meetings as requested.
• Greet children, parents, staff, and guests as needed.
• Follow licensing regulations and health and safety protocols.
• Assist other centers when requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
