Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Distinguished Engineer to lead backend design and delivery for remote global projects. You will own architectural decisions, drive production readiness, and mentor senior engineers across multiple teams.

You’ll collaborate with end users to clarify requirements, champion AI-assisted development, and help shape technical strategy while working 100% remotely with flexible hours and USD compensation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of deep expertise building backend systems with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of event-driven microservices architectures, having designed them in production.
• Extensive background with AWS-hosted platforms.
• Experience taking software to production and owning its operation.
• Practical use of AI-assisted development tools.
• Comfort collaborating directly with end users.
• Advanced level of English.
