Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Principal Software Engineer (Node.js, AWS) to shape the technical direction of a product area on an AWS-hosted platform. You’ll stay hands-on while mentoring engineers and guiding architecture decisions.

You’ll translate goals into working software, own end-to-end delivery, and collaborate directly with end users. This fully remote role offers flexible hours and currency options (USD or local).

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Proven record designing event-driven microservices in production.
• Strong knowledge of AWS-hosted platforms.
• Experience shipping software and owning operations.
• Familiar with AI-assisted development tools.
• Ability to work directly with end users.
• Advanced English.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
• Ability to work directly with end users.
• Advanced level of English.
