Premier Research is seeking a Director of Statistical Programming Innovation to lead our Biostatistics team. You will shape the technical roadmap, pilot AI-assisted tools, and build scalable R/Python pipelines and Shiny dashboards to advance regulatory-ready deliverables.

You will influence practices across SAS and modern programming, supervise direct reports, and foster continuous learning while delivering high-quality programming solutions for biotech and pharma projects.

Formación

• BS or equivalent in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 10+ years in statistical programming with R and SAS in CRO or pharmaceutical settings.
• At least 5+ years in a technical leadership role and 2+ years in supervision/management.
• Strong proficiency in R for data manipulation and statistical analysis; experience building tools and pipelines.

Responsabilidades

• Define and drive the technical roadmap for innovating statistical programming practices and infrastructure.
• Evaluate, pilot, and implement AI-assisted tools to improve programming efficiency, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Identify opportunities to replace SAS-based processes with automated R/Python pipelines.
• Design, build, and maintain reusable tools, macros, and templates for consistency across deliverables.
• Lead migration and integration efforts when modernizing SAS workflows with R/Python.
• Provide technical direction for R Shiny apps, dashboards, and deployment standards.
