You will love it here if you are:
- Dedicated to Excellence
- A team player
- Resilient
- Ethical
You’ll love coming to work every day if you get, want, and have the capacity to:
- Bring 5 or more years in marketing, with at least 2 years owning a brand’s marketing end to end. Any size of company counts if you owned it and grew it.
- Bring experience in a real corporate environment. This is not an entry level role.
- Show proven results on LinkedIn and email marketing. B2B is a strong plus. Industrial, manufacturing or recruiting is a bonus.
- Use AI tools every day (ChatGPT, Claude or similar) and know how to check what they write.
- Work hands on with a CRM and an email platform (Close, HubSpot, Mailchimp or similar) and with marketing automation.
- Use design skills to make on-brand visuals without help (Canva, Figma or similar). Be comfortable with podcasts and short video workflows.
- Apply basic to solid SEO.
- Write strong English. Explain strategy to people who are not marketers.
- Keep strong analytical habits. Track numbers weekly and act on what they tell you.
- Work at least 4 hours a day of overlap with US Eastern time, and be open to phone and Zoom calls in those hours.
You’ll have success here if you value clear processes and feel qualified to do the following things:
- Brand and digital strategy. Own the digital marketing strategy across all brands. Keep each brand distinct, make them work together, and stay inside the brand guidelines we built.
- LinkedIn and email first. These are our two main channels. Run the company pages, create and schedule LinkedIn posts, and own email end to end: list growth, segments for clients and candidates, newsletters, nurture sequences, deliverability and reporting.
- Content and calendar. Own the content calendar from idea to distribution: LinkedIn posts, campaigns, blog and SEO articles, website updates. Ideas often come from the founder. You plan it, produce it and ship it.
- Lead magnets. Ship one lead magnet a quarter, starting with our salary analysis for the tire, automotive and industrial markets. Turn each one into posts, emails and outreach.
- Podcast. Run the podcast workflow: guest booking, production, publishing and promotion, so every episode turns into clips, posts and articles.
- Client and candidate journeys. Map and improve every digital touchpoint a client or candidate has with us (website, job posts, outreach, emails, follow-up) so it feels consistent, professional and human.
- Events. Plan our pushes around trade shows like SEMA in Las Vegas: promote Founder’s panels and talks, set up meetings ahead of time, and follow up after.
- Stakeholder partnership. Work with the Founder and the recruiting team to turn searches, wins and expertise into content, and make sure marketing feeds business development.
- Automation, AI and CRM. Set up and run marketing automation and CRM workflows (we use Close) for lead nurturing, candidate engagement and campaigns. Use our AI tools so the routine work runs on its own, and check everything before it goes out.
- Organic growth. Grow search traffic with SEO, backlinks and content partnerships.
- Performance. Track results weekly and report monthly in plain words: what worked, what did not, what you will change. Run a personal review every quarter and turn it into next steps.
We train our team to help them succeed, and everyone on our team helps with our success. In this role, you’ll be accountable to hit the following numbers each week:
- Qualified leads (the main one). At least 3 qualified leads a month by day 90 and 5 a month by month 6, from LinkedIn, email and content. Counted in Close by lead source. A qualified lead is a decision maker at a target company who asks about a search or books a call. You earn a small share of every deal that closes from your leads.
- Founder time. By day 90, the Founder spends 2 hours a week or less on marketing, and only to review and approve. You run the other 90%.
- On time, with quality. 100% of the calendar ships on its date, every month. That calendar is 3 LinkedIn posts a week for each active brand, 3 campaigns a month, 1 SEO article a month, 1 lead magnet a quarter, and every podcast episode on its release date with guests booked 6 weeks ahead. Zero factual errors go live: every number and claim is checked against a real source before it is published.
- Email. 1 newsletter a month to clients and 1 to candidates. Open rate of 35% or more. At least 10 new subscribers a month across both lists.
- Organic search. Clicks from Google across our sites up 50% in 6 months.
If you want to come to work, learn, and hit those numbers, you’ll be recognized and rewarded. Our company runs on EOS purely. That means as a member of this team, you will have a leader who:
- Makes sure you have the necessary tools
- Acts with the greater good in mind
- Delegates appropriately
- Takes time to truly understand your role and how you can help the company
- Makes their expectations clear
- Communicates well
- Meets one-on-one with you quarterly or more, if needed
