Job summary

DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for our outpatient dialysis centers. You will provide direct patient care during dialysis sessions and support multiple patients under the supervision of RNs.

No dialysis experience is required as comprehensive training is provided; you may float between clinics and work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. This role offers a path into healthcare with a strong patient-focus.

Qualifications

• Desire to enter the health care field to care for others in need.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfort around blood and needles.
• Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics.
• Health care experience a plus (BONENT, CHT, CNA, CMA, or phlebotomy).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care during dialysis sessions.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Record stats and operate hemodialysis equipment.
• Educate patients on kidney dialysis topics.
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and leadership.
