Teladoc Health is seeking DevOps Engineers to automate and optimize our delivery pipelines across multi-environment infrastructures. You will implement infrastructure as code, build secure, scalable services, and collaborate with software engineers, QA, and systems teams to raise reliability and performance.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/Engineering.
• 5+ years of professional DevOps experience.
• Experience with containers, Kubernetes, and cloud-based environments.
• Ability to write automation scripts and diagnostics/debugging support.
• Experience building alerting, monitoring, and metrics systems (like New Relic, Zenoss, Sensu, Nagios, Graphite, Collectd, Ganglia, Datadog).
• Experience with CI, testing, and deployment pipelines (like Jenkins, Bamboo CI, Docker).
• Experience with Git, SVN and Jira.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, and experience with distributed teams.

DevOps Engineers are critical to building the next generation of Teladoc Health products and performance. If you have an obsessive focus on automation and metrics, enjoy building repeatable solutions, and contributing to best-of-breed technologies, we should talk. In this challenging role, you will develop solutions to meet the growing demand for operational improvements and efficiencies in a fast-paced environment. Working closely with software developers, QA, and system engineers, you will help deliver secure, reliable services by implementing fully automated continuous delivery solutions and leveraging industry-standard automation and monitoring tools. DevOps Engineers are also responsible for collecting meticulous data throughout the software development lifecycle and identifying optimizations that enable step-function improvements in engineering team productivity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and implementation of Infrastructure as Code, automated environment provisioning, and automated deployment and monitoring of multiple environments.
• Pair with development and QA teams to enable a continuous integration environment that sustains high productivity levels and emphasizes defect prevention techniques.
• Participate in a 24/7 on‑call rotation.
• Automate and optimize processes to reduce toil and perform sensitive tasks safely and reliably in secure environments.
• Work with cross‑functional business teams to understand requirements and other performance SLOs and SLAs
• Thoroughly document operational practices and procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test and production environments.
• Identify gaps in processes and help to close them.
• Participate in other projects and duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience working in DevOps or a related field.
• Experience with containers, Kubernetes, and cloud-based environments.
• Ability to write code, including automation scripting and diagnostics/debugging support.
• Experience building and maintaining alerting, monitoring, and metrics systems (like New Relic, Zenoss, Sensu, Nagios, Graphite, Collectd, Ganglia, Datadog or similar).
• Experience with continuous integration, testing, and deployment pipelines (like Jenkins, Bamboo CI, Docker or similar).
• Experience working with tools and workflows that support the software development lifecycle (like Git, SVN and Jira).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, and experience working with distributed teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
