Job summary

Superprof is seeking a dynamic Backend Developer with strong Python experience to build scalable APIs and leverage modern AI tooling for rapid MVP delivery. You will tackle challenging problems and help shape the backend that powers our tutoring platform.

Responsibilities include developing services, integrating REST/GraphQL, and working with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL. You’ll deploy to AWS (Lambda, API Gateway) and explore AI-powered code generation to accelerate development.

Qualifications

• More than 4 years of Python development experience.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Proficiency with Relational Databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Experience with API integrations using REST and/or GraphQL.
• Strong communication skills in English (Advanced/Bilingual).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs for our core application.
• Integrate third-party services using REST and/or GraphQL.
• Work with NoSQL and relational databases, ensuring efficient data modeling and query performance.
• Collaborate with the team on deploying services to AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, etc.).
• Suggest and experiment with AI-based tooling for rapid development and smart code generation.
• Bring fresh ideas and pragmatic solutions to enhance the backend architecture and development pipeline.
