Hitachi Rail STS S.P.A. in Lima, Peru, is seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer for a turnkey project.

You will lead commissioning activities, define the strategy, and coordinate with construction, RAMS, quality and safety requirements to ensure a successful handover to the Operator. The role requires 5–10 years in electrical, electronic, or computer engineering or IT, and a proven ability to manage interfaces with clients and third parties on-site.

Formación

• 5–10 years of commissioning experience on turnkey projects.
• On-site execution and coordination with construction teams.
• Strong HSE focus during commissioning activities.

Responsabilidades

• Define commissioning strategy for the project.
• Define and integrate the commissioning schedule with construction and delivery plans.
• Ensure on-time delivery of commissioning activities per RAMS, quality and safety standards.
• Implement HSE plans on site during commissioning.
• Manage interfaces with Client/Engineer/Third parties during tests and commissioning.
• Oversee handover of the system to the Operator.

Job Description:

Accountabilities:

The commissioning and hand over of a complex Turnkey project (in terms of project size, complex technological systems or involving international companies) in accordance with the Contract Requirements, to the Operator for commercial operation.

• Ensure the definition of the commissioning strategy
• Ensure the definition of the whole commissioning project activity schedule and its integration and synchronization with the construction activities and the project delivery work plan
• Ensure the on time delivery of the commissioning activities in accordance with commissioning strategy, the projects schedule and in accordance with RAMS, quality and safety requirements.
• Ensure the effective implementation of HSE plans on site during commissioning phase
• Ensure the correct interface management with the Client/Engineer/Third parties during the tests and commissioning phase
• Ensure the proper hand over of the system to the Operator
