Responsibilities
- Administer and support enterprise DNS, DHCP, and IPAM services within a global environment.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents impacting DDI infrastructure and related network services.
- Manage DNS records, DHCP scopes, IP allocation activities, and related configuration changes.
- Support DDI modernization and migration initiatives, including transition activities to global DDI platforms.
- Perform system administration, patching, upgrades, and configuration maintenance across DDI environments.
- Leverage monitoring and operational tools to ensure service health, availability, and compliance with established service levels.
- Conduct root cause analysis and support problem management activities for critical incidents.
- Act as a technical SME and collaborate with stakeholders, partners, and operational teams to implement DNS/DHCP changes and support technical initiatives.
- Maintain operational documentation, knowledge articles, and standard operating procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support a 24x7 operational environment when required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience supporting Enterprise DDI (DNS, DHCP, and IPAM) environments.
- Hands‑on experience administering and troubleshooting DNS and DHCP services in enterprise environments.
- Experience managing DNS records, DHCP scopes, IP allocation, and related configuration activities.
- Strong understanding of IP networking concepts and experience troubleshooting network-related issues.
- Experience working with Windows and Linux server environments.
- Hands‑on experience using Linux/Unix command‑line environments.
- Experience supporting incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis (RCA) for critical incidents and service disruptions.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with BlueCat DDI solutions and migration activities.
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP services in Microsoft environments.
- Familiarity with DDI monitoring and operational tools such as ThousandEyes, SolarWinds, Splunk, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of DNS security concepts and best practices.
- Experience working in mixed operating system environments, including Linux, Unix, and Microsoft platforms.
- Cloud and/or Security certifications preferred.
- Experience supporting large-scale global infrastructure or 24x7 operational environments.
- Exposure to networking technologies and platforms such as Cisco, Palo Alto, BlueCat, Infoblox, or Microsoft networking solutions.
