Muttdata, a remote-first data products and machine learning startup, is seeking a builder-minded AI Data Engineer to join a team delivering data platforms and AI-enabled automation for a leading bank.

You’ll work with LLMs, RAG, and AI Agents to automate Data Engineering tasks, design scalable data pipelines on AWS, and ship PoCs across pipelines, backends, and frontends.

Formación

• Experience building with generative AI: daily use of Copilot or similar, plus at least one project with LLMs, RAG, or agents.
• Strong Python and SQL skills within Data Engineering, Data Platform, or Cloud Data Engineering.
• Experience with AWS and data pipelines; comfortable moving between pipelines, backend, and frontend, shipping PoCs quickly.

Responsabilidades

• Build pipelines, backends, frontends, and PoCs using GitHub Copilot and agents as your main tools.
• Integrate LLMs, RAG, and AI Agents into the platform to automate Data Engineering and operational tasks.
• Design reusable data capabilities and pipelines for Data+; implement automation, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code on AWS.
• Integrate APIs and tools to make the platform increasingly self-service.

We are looking for a builder-minded AI Data Engineer to join our team. You'll have the opportunity to work on a challenging project for a leading bank, using GitHub Copilot and AI agents as everyday tools, and bringing LLMs, RAG, and AI Agents into Data+, our internal data platform, to automate Data Engineering and operational tasks — on top of a solid Data Engineering, Cloud, and Platform Engineering foundation.

Responsibilities

• Build pipelines, backends, frontends, and PoCs using GitHub Copilot and agents as your main tools.
• Bring LLMs, RAG, and AI Agents into the platform to automate Data Engineering and operational tasks.
• Design reusable capabilities and data pipelines for Data+. Implement automation, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code on AWS.
• Integrate APIs and tools to make the platform increasingly self-service.

Required

• Experience Real experience building with generative AI: daily use of GitHub Copilot or similar, plus at least one project with LLMs, RAG, or agents.
• Experience in Data Engineering, Data Platform, or Cloud Data Engineering. Strong Python and SQL.
• Experience with AWS and data pipelines.
• Comfort moving between pipelines, backend, and frontend, and shipping a PoC quickly. Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Availability to work from the client's office in Buenos Aires City (CABA) at least once a week.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Redshift, Glue, Lake Formation, dbt, Terraform, Data Mesh/Lakehouse, Vector Databases, agent frameworks, or Spec-Driven Development.
