Job summary

Sterlington is seeking a Data Migration Lead to plan and execute a major migration program for a global automotive client. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, define migration approach, and manage risks to ensure a smooth transition to the target system in a 100% remote setup.

The role requires strong experience in data migration, ERP migrations (S/4HANA preferred), and fluent English; interviews are conducted in English, with working hours 9:00–17:00 UTC.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Data Migration Lead or Team Lead in large-scale enterprise programs.
• Knowledge of data migration workflow: extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation and loading.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across multiple workstreams.
• Ability to define migration controls and risk management strategies.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP migrations (preferred).
• English at least intermediate; interviews in English.
• Availability to work in UTC timezone (9:00–17:00).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of data migration activities.
• Ensure data is accurate, complete, and ready for use in the target system.
• Coordinate cross-functional migration teams across workstreams.
• Define the data migration approach, methodology and quality controls.
• Identify, assess and manage migration risks and issues.
• Ensure a smooth and reliable transition with minimal disruption.
• Report migration status and progress to senior stakeholders.
